Ramadan Messages

“(Fast) the month of Ramadan in which the Qur’an was revealed.” (Qur’an, 2: 185)

Ramadan is the month of the Qur’an. Throughout history Muslims would utilize this month to turn to the Qur’an, recite it, study it, review what they had memorized and listen to it in the daily tarawih prayer.

In keeping with the spirit of the month and helping us connect back to the book of Allah, our teachers will be giving a daily message taken from the juz of that day. A juz is a thirtieth of the Qur’an. Reciting a juz each day ensures that one completes the Qur’an in a month.

These Ramadan messages are short messages aimed at highlighting a key lesson that one can take away from the day’s juz and practice it, or a key insight that will impact one’s world view, or a key story that helps us live the key lessons of a verse or sura.

They start with a longer, general Ramadan message discussing the objectives of Ramadan through the words of Allah in sura al-Baqara.

Visit this page each day for your daily Ramadan message.
