The focus of this course is specifically on building reading comprehension skills, and is one of the three application courses in the Sibawayh curriculum. Experiencing the word usages and sentence constructions used in this book will bring you into the world of the Arabic language.

The course consists of weekly live lessons twice a week during which the most important parts of the text will be explained and you will have the opportunity to ask questions about the assigned pages you read at home. The instructor will also give supplementary information about the subject and point out how Arabic expressions used in the text can be used in your daily life.

By the end of the course, you will become stronger in your understanding and reading of Arabic texts. You will gain reading fluency and read according to grammatical rules. Ultimately, you will be prepared for reading higher-level Arabic books. In addition, you will have a look at the life and habits of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the lessons you can draw from the situations he experienced.
