Ustadha Ateeka was born and raised in Reunion Island. Ateeka Mogalia graduated from the Dar ul Uloom Mu’eenul Islam in South Africa where she studied Arabic, Hanafi fiqh, hadith and tafseer. After having taught in local Islamic schools in Reunion Island she moved to Tarim where she had the opportunity to further her studies while also been honored to serve as a teacher at Dar al Zahra under the guidance of Ustadha Zaynab. She is currently living in Jordan with her family and continuing her studies.
