Financial Aid & Scholarships

Instant Discounts
As a non-profit institute, Qibla is committed to making its courses available to Muslims worldwide at an affordable tuition fee. To this end, most students are eligible for instant aid simply based on answering a few profile questions. Instant aid is based on your personal situation and the geographic location you enter when creating your account. This information can also be edited later in your profile.

Additional Financial Aid
Additional financial aid is available for those who require more than the amount of instant aid awarded. If you are genuinely unable to afford enrolling in a Qibla Academy course, please consider applying for financial aid. We want to ensure that a Qibla education is within the reach of everyone. That’s why a large percentage of our students are awarded financial aid each term. Many of our students are also awarded work study positions.

Financial aid is awarded based on student need. Application for financial aid must be reapplied for every semester, and students must maintain a passing grade in order to continue receiving aid.

To apply, submit the financial aid application before the deadlines listed for each semester.

Scholarships
Scholarships are provided to students with academic merit, special talent, or other achievements. These scholarships are extremely competitive. Currently, the following scholarships are available:

  1. General Merit Scholarship: The general merit scholarship is given to students who have maintained a minimum B+ average in their previous coursework.
  2. Syed Mohammed al-Bukhary Scholarship: Given in honor of one of Qibla’s top students who passed away on April 2, 2009, the scholarship is given to students demonstrating the same level of extraordinary commitment to seeking knowledge as Syed al-Bukhary.
  3. Prince Ghazi’s Scholarship for Guyanese Students: Jordan’s Prince Ghazi Bin Muhammad has a special scholarship fund for Guyanese students wishing to complete the online Associate’s Degree. Please contact the Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana for more information on this scholarship.

More details on the application process for these scholarships will be posted shortly.

Students Say

Qibla is easily accessible and fits my schedule. Coming from a city where such opportunities are rare, I appreciate the programme because it provides reliable traditional Islamic knowledge.
