How did you first find out about Qibla?
Someone sent me a link to an article from the knowledge base.

When did you start taking courses? Approximately how many courses have you taken since then?
I started at Qibla in Ramadan ’08 by taking a short course. Since then, I have taken 4 full courses, alhamdulillah.

Why did you continue taking courses? What made you stick around?
I was attracted to order and structure of Qibla ‘s classes and curricula. The degree/certification programs were also very enticing as I felt the material I learned could actually help me benefit others in an authoritative way.

What was your favorite course (or courses) and why?
Each class was special in its own way. LGC201 – Introduction to Classical Logic was very interesting because I had never studied classical logic before.

Which degree programs are you enrolled in (if any)?
Currently I’m working towards completing the Foundations diploma before moving on to the Seekers curriculum, in sha’ Allah.

Which course(s) are you taking this past summer?
SPR101, LAH101 and QRN101. I also TA-ed BLF201.

What is your best memory at Qibla? Do you have any interesting vignettes about your time at Qibla?
In LAH101, Shaykh Sulayman Van Ael told his convertion story. Ma sha’ Allah, it was the best one I had ever heard.

What’s one way Qibla has personally affected your life?
I’ve cut back on my reading of random Islamic literature and focused my time on doing my course work. I’ve also become more careful in what types of conversations I engage in regarding the Islamic sciences.

Would you recommend Qibla? I would and I have.
