Why Qibla?

Muslims comprise one-fifth of mankind, with numbers reaching 1.6 billion worldwide. With the advent of technology and the role that traditional Islam has played in Islamic scholarship throughout the Muslim world, there is a void in Islamic learning with a global reach. Qibla is here to fill that void by adhering to authentic and traditional scholarship while using the most up-to-date technology to fulfill the learning needs of the Muslim Ummah in this modern and global world of ours.

Muslims have traditionally lived in continents such as the Middle East, Central Asia, Southeast Asia and North Africa. However, with many Muslims migrating across continents and settling in places not frequented by Muslim previously, Muslim populations are rapidly growing in continents such as Europe, North and South America. These migratory patterns are exposing Muslims to new lands, new neighboring populations, novel questions about practicing Islam and other dynamic topics that Muslims face on a daily level. There is a high demand for genuine Islamic scholarship that has been historically taught in the Muslim lands.

With this in mind, Qibla offers a blend of traditional scholarship and modern technology through our highly successful courses taught by leading scholars of the Islamic world. Many of our instructors have studied in the west and have settled in Muslim countries to learn Islam through a traditional medium so that they may understand the current world of ours while teaching this precious knowledge onto others living around the world.

Students Say

I’ve been to Tunisia and Pakistan, but this is the best I’ve experienced. I sold my car and quit my job to come here, but I’d do it 10 times over because the car is for this world, but this is for my deen.
